By downloading, accessing, or using the SakhaSaarthi app, website or partner portal ("SakhaSaarthi", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Description of service

SakhaSaarthi is an AI-powered study companion for school students in India. Based on the board, class, and subjects a student selects, SakhaSaarthi builds a personalised study plan, generates practice questions, tracks progress and topic coverage, and answers study-related doubts through an in-app chat. SakhaSaarthi is currently free to start and available on Android, with iOS support planned. Features, supported boards and classes, and pricing may change over time, and we will do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.

3

Eligibility & accounts

SakhaSaarthi is intended for use by school students, along with their parents, schools, and institutes. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of SakhaSaarthi and, where required by applicable law, verify that consent with us. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account (board, class, and subjects, at minimum).
  • One account is intended for one individual student — accounts may not be shared or transferred.
  • A parent can link to a child's account in the parent portal only with a one-time code sent to the child's registered mobile number.
  • A school or coaching institute sees a student only while the student (or their parent) has them selected as the student's school or coaching, or the school has added the student with the parent's details. The student or parent can remove a school or coaching at any time.
  • We may ask for additional verification if we have reason to believe an account is being misused.
4

User conduct

SakhaSaarthi is a study tool, and we expect it to be used respectfully and honestly. When using SakhaSaarthi, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to access another user's account, data, or progress without authorization.
  • Use the chat or practice features to generate content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with SakhaSaarthi's underlying models, systems, or infrastructure.
  • Use SakhaSaarthi to cheat during a proctored or invigilated examination, where doing so would violate that exam's own rules.
  • Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your board, class, or affiliation with a school or institute.
5

AI-generated content & accuracy

Study plans, practice questions, explanations, and chat responses in SakhaSaarthi are generated with the help of artificial intelligence. While we work to keep this content accurate and aligned with the selected board and class syllabus, AI-generated content can occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. SakhaSaarthi is a study aid, not a substitute for your textbooks, teachers, or official curriculum materials, and should not be relied on as the sole source of truth for exams or graded work. Please use your judgement and verify important information independently.

6

Content & intellectual property

SakhaSaarthi, including its app, website, logo, design, and underlying software, is owned by us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SakhaSaarthi for your own personal study purposes, subject to these terms. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute SakhaSaarthi's content or software without our prior written permission. Any notes, answers, or messages you submit through the chat remain associated with your account and are used as described in our Privacy Policy, solely to operate and improve your study plan.

7

Subscriptions & payments

SakhaSaarthi is on a free plan right now, with no ads, and we do not process any payments today. Paid subscription plans may be added later. Before they launch, this section will be updated to describe pricing, billing, and cancellation terms in full before any payment feature goes live, and you will be asked to separately agree to those terms.

9

Termination

You may stop using SakhaSaarthi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, poses a risk to other users, or is inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, your right to use SakhaSaarthi ends, though provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

SakhaSaarthi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SakhaSaarthi, including any academic outcome, exam result, or decision made based on SakhaSaarthi's content.

11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SakhaSaarthi and its team harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app or your violation of these terms.

12

Governing law & dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of SakhaSaarthi will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as new features (like payments) launch. If we make a material change, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use SakhaSaarthi after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
